The Dublin Dog Foundation Board of Directors
Gretchen Hollifield
President
I get to experience the profound effect dogs have on us everyday as a dog trainer, and I am so happy to be involved with an organization that makes it a priority to see that others, not as fortunate, get to experience the same thing. If the foundation can just change as many lives as dogs have changed mine, then we will be truly successful.
Jason Watson
Founder
Jason is the president and owner of Dublin Dog Co. Married with two young children, Jason loves spending time with his family, which include his dogs, Jake and Kona. His tagline for Dublin Dog Co. has been “You should be so lucky” which is something he has always considered himself. He wanted to help share his passion for dogs with those who can benefit the most from their company and the special skills they provide. Hence his tagline for the foundation: “We should all be so lucky.”
Pam Brown
Vice President
Pam is the West Coast Sales Manager for Combi USA, a leading stroller and car seat manufacturer. Pam enjoys spending time with her son, partner, and their dog, Lexie. Pam has over 10 years experience in the juvenile products industry which has recently been compared to the pet industry (pet owners consider animals as their "babies"). Pam loves people, especially children, and joined the Dublin Dog Foundation to spend her time making a difference and doing something that really matters.
Ken Riel
Treasurer
Ken's background in sales, his position as Business Manager of HiHopes Farm and work as Board President of the New York based non-profit, ART4NOW, make him the perfect treasurer for the Dublin Dog Foundation. Ken believes we should all give back to our communities in some fashion. He and his partner live with their two dogs, Napoleon and Miss Murphie Peaches Brown as ewll as their cat, Stella. Their most recent addition is a filly, named Pink, born in May 2010. Viva La Mamma and Pink are healthy and resting comfortably in their stall.
Stacey Fano
Secretary
Stacey Fano has spent several years in the pet industry, first as an owner of a holistic pet food store where she helped pets "live the good life" and supported many local charities. Stacey has always enjoyed using her spare time to give back to her community and loves getting outside with her pets more then anything. Her hope is to use her personal and business networks to spread the mission of the Dublin Dog Foundation.
Erin Pickett
Board Member
Erin is a proud member of the Dublin Dog Company crew. She moved to Charlotte three years ago after initially starting her design career in New York City. After arriving in Charlotte, Erin and her fiance adopted two dogs into their family, Addie and Wilson. Through caring for her dogs, Erin has become extremely passionate about the importance of making others aware of the vital role they play in our lives.
Ada Hallam
Board Member
Ada is a nutritionist who recently moved to Charlotte from London, England. Ada has little doubt about the nurturing affect of animals and very soon after her move was lucky enough to find a wonderful dog (Henry) at one of the local shelters. Together they have discovered Charlotte and met some great people. She feels privileged to be involved with an organization that can help people experience even a fraction of the joy that Henry has brought her. Henry will also be giving back by training as a therapy dog himself.
